Autism can sometimes be detected at 18 months or younger. By the age of 2, a diagnosis by an experienced professional can be considered very reliable. 


• What is the treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?
No cure exists for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and there is no one-size-fits-all treatment. The goal of treatment is to maximize the person’s ability to function by reducing autism spectrum disorder symptoms and supporting development and learning.

• Is Autism the same as Down Syndrome?
No, Down Syndrome and Autism are entirely different. And just like anyone else the chances of developing autism are the same. It is possible for a person to have Down Syndrome and be Autistic.
